Slovenia 1-1 Serbia: Jovic scores late to keep Euro 2024 hopes alive

Serbia scored a dramatic stoppage-time equalizer to draw 1-1 against Slovenia on Thursday, a result that keeps its Euro 2024 dreams alive.

Zan Karnicnik had given Slovenia the lead in the 28th minute, but Luka Jovic's 94th-minute goal earned Serbia a point.

The draw leaves Serbia third in Group B, with eight points from four games. Slovenia is second with seven points from three games.

Serbia will need to win its final two games, against Norway and Sweden, to have a chance of qualifying for the Euros. Slovenia needs to win one of its two remaining games, against Norway and Romania, to secure a place in the playoffs.
