Brody Malone: American Artistic Gymnast
Early Life and Career
John Brody Malone was born on January 7, 2000 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He began competing in gymnastics at the age of seven, and quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the top American gymnasts in his age group.
Olympic Success
Malone made his Olympic debut at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, where he finished 10th in the all-around competition. He returned to the Olympics in 2024 and won a bronze medal in the all-around competition, becoming the first American man to win an Olympic medal in gymnastics since 2008.
Awards and Accolades
In 2022, Malone was named USA Gymnastics Athlete of the Year and Sportsperson of the Year. He is also a three-time NCAA champion and a four-time U.S. national champion.
