Jannik Sinner Makes Winning Start to French Open
Australian Open Champion Cruises Past Eubanks
Paris, France - Defending Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner got his French Open campaign off to a winning start, defeating Christopher Eubanks in straight sets.
Sinner Dominates from the Beginning
The tension under the Chatrier roof quickly evaporated as Sinner dictated the pace of the match. The Italian broke Eubanks' serve twice in the first set and once in each of the following sets, eventually sealing the victory 6-4, 6-2, 6-4.
Sinner's dominance was evident throughout the match. He controlled the rallies with powerful groundstrokes and rarely allowed Eubanks to dictate the play.
