Liverpool's Alisson a fitness doubt for Bournemouth match with hamstring issue

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker is a fitness doubt for Saturday's Premier League clash with Bournemouth after picking up a hamstring issue in training.

The Brazilian international missed the Reds' 5-2 defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night as a result of the injury.

Klopp provides update on Alisson's fitness

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said that Alisson is still being assessed and that a decision on his fitness will be made closer to the game.

"Alisson has a little hamstring issue," Klopp said. "We have to see how he reacts in the next few days."

"It's not a major problem, but it's enough to keep him out of the game tomorrow."

If Alisson is ruled out of the Bournemouth match, Adrian is expected to start in goal for Liverpool.
